Course Structure and Schedule

The intensive German course consists of two modules:

Module Course
Module 1: Intermediate course (B2)
Module 2: Advanced course (C1) and preparation for a university entrance language test

The semester is structured as follows:

Spring break 2025 25th of May until 1st of June
Module 2 June to September
Summer holidays 2025 from 31st of July

Fees

The course fee is €1,990.00, and covers six months of classes. The amount is payable in two instalments. For details on the payment conditions please consult the application page. You also have the possibility to apply for a CampusCard. A semester contribution of €118.50 is charged each semester, and must be paid before the semester either by bank transfer or on site. The semester contribution covers the fee for the student services association (which runs the halls of residence and cafeterias and refectory on campus) and the semester bus pass fee.

We offer our course participants an extensive programme of extracurricular leisure activities, such as a city tour, boat trip on the Danube, excursions to Munich, Regensburg and Salzburg, company visits, lectures and much more.

Certificate

Every course level (B2 to C1) concludes with a final exam consisting of four parts: listening, reading, writing and speaking. All students who pass the exam will receive a German language certificate with an overall evaluation score in line with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

The programm finishes with a preparatory course for an official German language proficiency test.
